The Carmel Kids Summer Theater Camp is a week-long summer camp for students ages 8-14. The camp will take place June 8-12, 2026 at Carmel Middle School. The week will be filled with activities including vocal music, choreography, character development, and more! On the last day of camp, students will perform for the public Shrek the Musical, Kids! The performance will take place at 7pm at Carmel Middle School.

How to Register for Camp
Steps for registration:
1) Save your spot by signing up on this form. (If you want to register multiple children, you will need to fill out multiple spots) We will accept registrations until March 27, 2026 or until spots run out.

2) In February, you will receive an email inviting you to complete your student registration and submit payment for camp.
3) If your student wants a speaking/solo role, they will audition in-person April 13 at Carmel High School
Early Bird Tuition: $269 per camper (paid on or before April 3)
General Tuition: $329 per camper (paid after April 3)

Auditions are optional. If you would like to have a speaking part or solo, you must audition. Those who decide not to audition will still get to experience all that camp has to offer – singing, dancing, acting – and perform in the production. Campers who are given speaking roles and solos are expected to arrive at camp with lines and music memorized. See audition details at the bottom of this page.

How to Audition
Auditions will be in-person this year at Carmel High School April 13 from 6:00pm-8:30pm in Room E152. Students should be ready to read sides with other campers, and be ready to learn a short excerpt of music from the show and sing it to the audition panel. The audition room will be closed to parents, but you are welcome to wait in the building. Please come prepared in comfortable clothing that allows you to move. You may also bring a water bottle if you choose to!
