New for the fall of 2025, The Carmel Junior Thespians is the Middle School Theatre Organization for Carmel Clay Schools. The club is completely extracurricular, meeting on Monday evenings at 6:30pm at Carmel High School. Students invovled with the club get to hone their performance and communication skills under the direction of Ms. Amanda Boldt.
Ms. Boldt is a Performing Arts Educator based in Indianapolis, Indiana. She holds a Master of Arts in Theatre Education and is an alumnus of Carmel Schools. She is so excited to lead the Junior Thespians!
The club will work on solo and group material throughout the year, with a culminating performance in the spring. In addition, the group will work on a play that will travel to compete at a Junior Thespian Regional in the fall. They will have the chance to then compete at State Thespian Conference in January. Regardless of placement, the group will still get to attend Indiana Thespian State Conference.
This club is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the thriving theatre culture at Carmel High School, as well as make friends from all over the district who also love theatre! Here is the club calendar for the 2025-2026 School Year
Enrollment for the Club is now open! We will accept up to 50 students into the program and the registration fee is $250 for the year.
