The Carmel High School Performing Arts Department is pleased to announce its spring musical, Mamma Mia! The show is live on stage at the Dale E. Graham Auditorium at Carmel High School, May 6-7 at 7pm and May 8 at 2pm and 7pm. This is the first performance welcoming the public since the pandemic shut down last year.
“We are happy to see COVID-19 cases decreasing, and Hamilton county has cleared us for 50% capacity in our auditorium. It will be nice to see the public again.” Said Director Anna Debard.
The production will feature 45 student actors and over 50 crew members. They are going all-out with production values too, as the set and costume designs are modeled after the Broadway production. The show ran in New York for 14 years, now Carmel High School is thrilled to bring the show to Central Indiana.
The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make Mamma Mia! a must-see production. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget!
Tickets for the Production start at just $8 and are available here
